Don't fish for compliments

Sautéed Barramundi with Tikka Masala Spiced Squash with Golden Raisins & Cashews
I've used up my 90's hip-hop/r&b/rap references for fish so you just get punny Gatherer for now. This is my second meal from Gobble, and while it shouldn't fish for compliments, it's going to get them from me. Hunter did not participate in the Judgy McOpinion of this one because he was at improv, but for the life of me I can't remember if it was a practice, a board meeting, or a show. With Gobble showing up mid-week it means that some of our meals are running over to weekends because we have Friendly Fridays at the gym so we usually eat dinner there. I guess this is good because I'm prone to want to ask to go out to eat more on the weekends but won't if there's food to be made at home. Hunter will probably be happy when summer is over because when we go to the pool we tend to eat there. We usually split a sandwich between us and let the Natives order as they wish. Occasionally I am mean and I make them eat uncrustable pb&j's while we split a sammich. When we are going for dinner on Friday, lunch on Saturday, and lunch on Sunday it can add up. For those of you that menu and budget plan, I can usually make a 4 person meal plan cover 4 portions for dinner and about 3 lunch portions between Hunter and I. Most of my food waste comes from the sauces. Both Hunter and I have been know to have a random assortment of sides for lunch once we start getting close to delivery day because the proteins are long gone.
Back to the meal. I like Barramundi. I questioned it just having salt and pepper as the seasoning but the quality and freshness of the fish made it fine. Also making it fine, the squash and zucchini had so much flavor. So much flavor that Gatherer did that thing where she mentally prepares for battle. The Natives normally hate squash and squash like things with a passion. Y'all Native2 requested I make this again. No lie. I wish you could have seen the look of shock on my face. I'm fairly certain I had heart failure of some variety. I'm not promising your natives will eat this, I'm saying there was some sort of rip in the time space continuum and I'm still recovering. I loved it, Native2 loved it, and Native1 didn't make horrible gagging noises and I didn't have to yell at him to eat. Maybe it was the raisins, maybe it was the cashews, maybe I don't care because they ate it. Again my concern with Gobble is the premade portions of the meal mean it is very difficult to recreate a meal on a non-Gobble night. I will say this meal was a far cry better than the pasta meal we tried first.
Rated a full gallon of Milos
If you decide to try Gobble I definitely suggest you throw this one in your box if if comes up on rotation. Gatherer and Native approved.
