Mustard Glazed Salmon with Corn, snap Peas, & Tomatoes

Y'all I had to do it...I had to break up with #MarleySpoon. Over 4 weeks straight of late deliveries, missing items, sus quality seafood. It was too much. It makes me sad because I really did prefer their recipes, but at the suggestion of Gatherer's best friend from a far southern cave, we are going to try Gobble. According to their site, I'll get my first order July 28th so expect a review in a few weeks. They seem a bit more pricey but we will see if it is worth it. If not I may just roll back over to Blue Apron as a secondary choice. HelloFresh is still consistently good, so I'm keeping them in rotation, I just need something different sometimes.

So on to this Salmon recipe. So much better than the last one. By leaps and bounds. The fish was fresh and filling as it should be. I know y'all are thinking the Natives would pitch a fit over that sauce but no like Native2 requests mustard on the reg, and it was a delightful burst of flavor. Sweet, savory, and tangy all at the same time. It was a hit for the entire palate. Would happily make this again. It's one of the reasons I request the recipe cards rather than just pulling them from the app on my iPad. The electronic versions go away after a bit and I like having them to use later.

On to the salad. I was worried about this one. All of the components are consumed by the Natives, I was a little worried about obvious onions and the mixture of veggies in the same bowl together. They do eat hidden cooked onions all the time with no complaints, but let them actually see one and you would think I've tried to poison them. Also, what is it about tiny humans and if you put two things they normally eat in the same bowl together, it somehow becomes inedible? I'm not talking pickles and ice cream here, I'm talking beans and corn, perfectly normal combo stuff. Well I was worried for nothin. They ate it. I'm not saying it didn't take a little work but they did eat it. Honestly my only complaint was that there was too much dill, and that's easy to step down on a remake.

Rated full gallon of Milos

I feel like I should put a trademark thing after Milos. #Milos, don't come after me please, this isn't making me any money, and lort knows Hunter and I have spent enough on your liquid gold over the years.

TLDR: Recipe good, service bad. Gatherer is sad but is trying new things.
