Getting to the core of it

Trying to make sure my 6 pack isn't ruining my 6 pack

One of the areas that gives me the most mental grief is my core. All the core. My abs look flabby, and my back is very weak from hunching over the abacus all day. My trainer is probably over hearing me say that I want to work on my oblique/abdominal/traps... you get the idea. I'm finally at a place where I can do slightly more advanced exercises for these areas.
I really do feel like she hulk some days, but when I look at video and photos I don't see that bulk that I worry about. I do need to get my head right (if you are not laughing here, you are a stranger who stumbled across my blog) but this dead lift is so much better from where I started. I really like adding the resistance to this exercise mostly because it can increase the challenge of the exercise without adding weight.

I got lucky and had plenty of room to set up my entire small circuit on Friday. I probably saved 10 minutes on my workout just doing 4 exercises as the set vs doing 2 then 2.
