All work and no play meant it was time for a rest day

I've been fussed at recently for my refusal to take rest days. The order of operations for this weekend almost forced me to take one. Hunter tried to make sure I had gym time after him, but I don't like workouts that make me feel rushed.

We visited Hunter's college buddies and took Zelda with us. I dressed her up in her summer best, my doggo is spoiled. It was her first real road trip and she did fairly well with the number of puppers we forced her to hang out with. Quite a bit of growling but that was the worst of it. The occupants of the other cave steamed crab. Gatherer brought #MarleySpoon Cold Peanut Noodle Salad with Pickled Veggies. Gatherer really enjoyed this but was glad it wasn't the main dish of her dinner as it normally would be. It just needed more. Hunter suggested lime would help and I agreed. A fish or grilled chicken would have been nice. Definitely would be a great choice for a pool or rivah (the way they say it in Virginia) day. I would probably chop the veggies smaller and pickle a bit longer. Sauce was excellent, tahini was savory, salty, and added that nice sesame flavor to the peanut butter. Natives were not forced to consume. They ate mac and cheese twice and that seemed to make them happy. 4 sweet teas was Gatherer's final decision on the rating
Rated 4 Sweet Teas

Woke up with everything achy and sore like I had done a full training day workout which made no sense, but its back to the grind today. I think it will be quite some time before I take a rest day again. I ate way too much crab and decided 2 cookies and a cupcake were acceptable and I was irritated at myself for not having better self control. I do better and am better mentally when I force myself to be good.
